What are Asset Tokens?
Asset Tokens are fractionalized real estate shares on the blockchain. Using a modified ERC20 standard, Asset Tokens can be bought, sold, and traded between any whitelisted users and contracts.
Each tokenized property on Landshare has its own Asset Tokens with a unique address and name. Holding Asset Tokens is equivalent the holding an ownership stake in the property, which entitles you to monthly rental payouts, equity, and governance rights as outlined in each property's operating agreement.
Ownership of real-world properties is converted to Asset Tokens through a process called tokenization. For more information, see here:
