Introduction to Asset Tokens and Tokenization

Asset Tokenization is the process of creating digital tokens on the blockchain which represent the ownership of various real world and digital assets.
The asset is held in an LLC, corporation, or DAO, and ownership of that entity is represented by the tokens. When purchasing a tokenized asset, you are actually purchasing units or shares of the company or organization that owns it.
Landshare forms Corporations or LLCs in the state of Wyoming, each of which holds a single asset. Under Wyoming state law, corporate shares or LLC membership units can be converted to tokens on the blockchain. On Landshare, these are referred to as Asset Tokens.
